Distro: Lubuntu 14.04 Desktop: LXDE The following command will disable the touchpad while typing, and it will remain disabled for 3 seconds after the last key is pressed. NOTE: you can increase or decrease the time by changing the 3 to the number of seconds you'd like. syndaemon -i 3 -d I wanted this to auto load at run time so I created a touchpad_settings.sh file in my personal scripts directory and then added the files to auto load.
